Port ban for russian ships is already in effect in five of the 27 EU countries

Not long ago more than 30 countries closed the sky to russian aircraft. In view of the latest terrorist acts of the rf and attacks on civilian ships in the Black Sea, the same fate awaits russian ships. Five EU countries (out of 27) have already closed ports for russian ships, - said Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President. These are Italy, Belgium, Estonia, Bulgaria and Romania.

The port ban applies to all ships registered under the russian flag. Restrictions also apply to ships that (to avoid possible bans) have changed their russian flags or russian registration to any other state after the start of russia's invasion of Ukraine.
