Most of the "people's militiamen" from so-called People's Republic of Donetsk (the DNR) died in the fighting near Mariupol, - Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
During the participation in hostilities, the DNR’s “Ministry of Internal Affairs” has lost up to 1,000 people in Mariupol direction, and more than 2,800 people were wounded. Up to 500 people were killed and 2,100 were injured in other areas.
