For the first time since her release from Russian captivity, paramedic Julia Paevska, known as Taira, spoke about the conditions in which she was kept by the Russian invaders

"My weight is now about 50 kg. I am too emaciated and look terrible. But the best doctors are taking care of me and I will be back in line soon. Again and again, I want to thank for the exchange, which was undoubtedly a miracle of the Lord, and everyone involved in this miracle. Now I am in a safe place under the supervision of the best doctors. Soon I will return to duty, for now, I need to recover," she wrote.

According to her, most of all she now hurts those who are still held captive by the Russian occupiers. She stressed that everything possible should be done so that prisoners are protected by the international convention on human rights because the Russians violate these rights.
