Celebrate World Book Day with us!
Do you remember last year's World Book Day? Members of the Webster global community submitted more than 80 videos of themselves reading excerpts from published written works. We want to try again, with the same rules!
Your challenge: submit a short video of yourself reading an excerpt out of your favorite book, poem, novel, article, essay, or story!
The rules:
Make a video of 2 minutes or less with you reading a part of a published text. It can be fiction, non-fiction, or something you are writing too!
Upload your video to YouTube (each registered user has a channel automatically) and make sure that your video is set to "Public". Copy the link so you can share it with us.
Make your submission through our online form.
The deadline to submit is April 19.
Submissions can be in any language.
No inappropriate content! We will have people reviewing all submissions.
Have fun, get creative, invite your friends to join! Act out the excerpt with your friends, have a relay with family, draw the excerpt as you read it - the limit is your imagination.
All videos will be uploaded to our YouTube channel in the World Book Day 2021 playlist.
