Kakomycli
Bassariscus sumichrasti is a small animal resembling a cross between a marten and a cat. It has excellent climbing skills and destroys a lot of rodents, because it was often tamed before. Now they are less common as pets, but in North America they are sometimes kept – they are kind and affectionate pets, unless not everyone can get used to their voice.
In fact, kakomitsli belongs to the raccoon family. This animal is 30-45 cm long and plus another 30-50 cm falls on its tail, but its entire length does not exceed 1300 g.
Some people are not fastidious in their diet and eat everything they find on their site. These are insects, small or large rodents - even rabbits, squirrels, and birds. In addition to animal food, kakomitsli also willingly eats persimmons, mistletoe, other fruits and plants.
These interesting animals live in the southern and southwestern regions of the United States at altitudes up to 2900 m above sea level, as well as in Mexico and Central America
