Конкурс будет проходить онлайн с 7 августа по 7 сентября 2021 года.
У Вас есть прекрасная возможность выиграть $ 150 (первый приз), $ 100 (второй приз) и $ 50 (третий приз). Для участия в конкурсе Вам нужно записать интересное минутное видео, или снять креативное фото, или нарисовать красивую картинку с детьми, выражающую Ваше понимание книги «Экономика здравого смысла».

Вы должны загрузить работу (видео или фото или рисунок) на Вашу страницу в Instagram и указать в комментариях к какой главе или концепции книги она соответствует больше всего. Все победители получат призы наличными в узбекских сумах и будут приглашены в WIUT на церемонию награждения. Кроме того, победители получат экземпляр книги «Экономика здравого смысла», сертификат победителя и станут почётным гостями команды EFI Uzbekistan.

2021-05-22 18:22:57 On May 10, 2021, at Westminster International University in Tashkent Okila Elboeva (Lincoln Memorial University, USA) – one of the Uzbek translators of the popular textbook “Common Sense Economics” across the US college campuses presented the first Uzbek translated version in Uzbekistan. Work on the translation of the textbook lasted more than two years and was edited by two WIUT Economists Bakhrom Mirkasimov and Zohid Askarov. This type of economics literature is abundant in the US and Europe, but the first one published in Uzbekistan.

With the active support of WIUT’s Lead Academic Partner Economic Fundamentals Initiative (EFI), the copies of the translation of the textbook will be distributed electronically and physically among local universities and libraries in Uzbekistan.

Further to my last communication regarding the current mode of study at our University, I am contacting you again regarding the upcoming examination period and the associated challenges presented by the COVID-19 crisis. This includes arrangements for the end of semester examinations.
 
We have been carefully monitoring the epidemiological situation over the past number of weeks.  I again would like to commend WIUT’s staff dedication in ensuring students’ academic progress, fulfilling their duties even as they confronted unprecedented professional and personal challenges. Thank you for the trust you are placing in us to support you in your academic goals. 
 
For this reason, we have made the decision to reschedule all end of semester (final) examinations to an online mode. Whilst we know this is disappointing, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to help keep each other safe in these unprecedented times. In cases of questions, sickness and social vulnerability, please contact your Course Leader immediately. A revised timetable for take home examinations will be circulated shortly to all students.
 
I hope this update is useful. Please keep in mind that we are here for you and we are all here for each other.
