Stockholm syndrome in Thailand.Many Thais are protesting for an increase in the rate of vaccination. People are also protesting because they believe that the government "failed to cope with the pandemic" and was not strict enough (local residents are scared and have no idea what is really happening). Tourism in this country accounts for almost 20% of GDP, and now people are starving. You might think that most Thais want the country to reopen, but this is not the case. There is practically no alternative news and resistance in East and Southeast Asia. While many countries around the world are protesting against vaccines, some are protesting to get them.
It is worth noting that recently all domestic flights were closed in Thailand in order to reduce the spread of the Chinese coronavirus.
