Almost no one writes about Bilderberg, partly because of his ties to the transatlantic intelligence community.

The conference, founded in the mid-1950s as a joint project of British and American intelligence, held its cards so well that the world press gave up trying to get an idea about it.

This year's conference, chaired by CIA Chief William Burns, reflects these roots.

Burns is a former US ambassador to Russia, he was elected to the Bilderberg Steering Committee just a few months before Joe Biden handed him the post, after which he quietly left his seat.

The conference is attended by three other current intelligence heads: the head of the UK government Communications headquarters, the director of the French Foreign Intelligence Service DGSE, the head of the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan.

Among the former spy leaders involved in the negotiations are David Petraeus (CIA) and Sir John Sawers (MI6), now a member of the Bilderberg Board and the board of directors of BP.

And, of course, Klaus Schwab's mentor Henry Kissinger will answer in the hotel bar.

Incredibly, 99-year-old Kissinger has been visiting Bilderberg since 1957.

The prince of Realpolitik has been the ideological godfather of Bilderberg for as long as anyone can remember. And recently, he co-authored a book with Eric Schmidt, a member of the Bilderberg steering committee, the former head of Google, called "The Era of Artificial Intelligence."
