Residents of Italy are shocked by the blasphemous image of St. Mary at the gay pride parade.
The first gay pride parade in honor of the "LGBTQ Pride Month" took place last weekend in the Lombard city of Cremona in Northern Italy. Saint Mary, bare-chested, wearing something that looks like a sadomasochistic collar and bondage, with black lips and red shoes, appeared on public display to the residents of the city.
"The blasphemous performance shocked the majority of Catholics and immediately spread on social networks, provoking sharp criticism of the mayor of the city, who initially granted public patronage to this clearly satanic event, and showed disrespect for the religion that is still professed (at least formally) by most Italians."
