Under Peterhof there is a sculpture from a solid granite block - the Head at the Source or the Head of Adam. Author, date of creation and purpose unknown. Pre-revolutionary guidebooks are silent about the giant. For two centuries, no one was seriously engaged in the study, no one thought of digging out the entire statue. Perhaps a huge antediluvian statue is hidden underground.
