Giants of Monte Prama
In 1974, statues were found in Sardinia that turned out to be split. They represented warriors and archers.
Scientists to this day are studying statues, fragments of which were located on the coast of Sardinia.
In total, about 5,000 fragments have already been found, and the most unusual feature of the statues is their eyes, resembling huge double disks. The approximate date of creation of the sculptures is the tenth century BC. All this is very interesting, but scientists and archaeologists cannot say why the statues were created and why the most ancient statues were destroyed.
