In 1920, American Eddie Egan won the
Summer Olympics in a heavyweight boxing tournament. And after finishing his boxing career, he became interested in bobsleigh.
He was so successful that in 1932 he also became an
Olympic champion in this bobsleigh. Egan is the first athlete in the world to win both the Summer and Winter Olympics.
