(With The Madman)

Almost 3a.m. and he texts me, "You know, nobody really knows you."

I smiled a bit of course, for the literal definition the sentence held. And asked, "Oh?"

He then proceeds to say, "Nobody knows you. Because "you" is singular but there's no singular you. Because you is the many people that have interacted with you. And you have distinct character in every person's mind you have crossed path with, so there are multiple versions of you.'

You see. There's no singular you.

And you...the one who's currently reading this, you
since nobody really knows you
make sure to be a positive addition
to somebody else's "you".

Be kind.
Be humble.
And learn to forgive too.

Because there's no singular you,
remember and make the plural you.

P.S I did use too many YOUs.
