More than 50% of the world population is under 30, and it's estimated that 600 million of them live in fragile and conflict-affected areas. These numbers highlight the urgent need to include young people in peacemaking processes The UN Security Council resolutions note that including young people in negotiations helps build long-term, sustainable peace.
