The fourth Stats Talk-Africa webinar series which will focus on 'The state of play of SDGS: what is the real story?' will take place on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 from 11:00 to 12:45 EAT via Microsoft Teams.
The webinar will explain the SDGs framework and its measurement, the current state of data availability and existing gaps, SDGs progress assessment, and discuss the actions required to address the prevalent measurement challenges.
Stats Talk-Africa webinar series aim to provide a space for dialogues about data, statistics, and innovative tools with data experts and users within ECA, Africa and rest of the world. Specifically, it is being conducted monthly by the the African Centre of Statistics (ACS) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) to:
1. Serve as a knowledge-sharing and exchange platform. 2.Demystify and promote greater understanding.
