Today coincides with the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).
Arbaeen, the 40th is a Shiite religious ceremony that takes place forty days after the day of Ashura. The memorial of the martyrdom of Hussein bin Ali PBUH is the son of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad Salawat Allah and the third Shiite Imam who was martyred on the tenth day of Muharram.
