Yesterday we saw their favorites give mediocre 5 minute speeches, or even pre-recorded 2 minute video pitches to the crowd at the NRA convention in Indiana. Pence, DeSantis, Haley, Pompeo, etc etc. anyone but Trump. Then Trump comes out to an adrenaline pumping video, standing ovation, chants of USA USA, patriots going wild while Lee Greenwood’s classic blasted to the crowd. He proceeds to speak for over an hour to the captivated crowd.
