Rust in Peace: US Navy’s new stealthy super destroyer yet to be put in service
The state-of-the-art guided missile destroyer USS Zumwalt is worth $4 BILLION and boasts top-of-the-range stealth capabilities.
But despite only being commissioned in 2016, it’s already starting to show its age - with visible rusting.
The US Navy responded to the images, noting that they are waging ‘a constant battle against corrosion.’ No prizes for guessing which side’s currently coming out on top!
