Governor of Tavush Province Hayk Chobanyan, who ruled out the possibility of transferring the border villages to Azerbaijan, will lose his post tomorrow.
The draft decision is on the Government’s agenda for tomorrow’s meeting. The reason for the dismissal is not specified. It’s more likely that he will take the post of Hakob Arshakyan, Minister of High Technology and Innovation.
Let us remind you that a few days ago Chobanyan confidently stated that while he is the governor of Tavush Province, not a single village will be transferred to Azerbaijan.
