Armenian men over 27 can start packing their baggages
A few weeks ago, the Parliament kicked off meetings to discuss a new resolution allowing those who didn’t serve in the Armenian Armed Forces to return to homeland without any persecution and pre-conditions.
Today, the Armenian Government approved the draft resolution and submitted it to the Parliament.
Next up, the Parliament will be signing the resolution into a law.
Note, this resolution only pertains to those who turned 27 years of age before September 26, 2020. In other words, if you were 27 before the war you can start looking for airline tickets.
According to the Minister of Justice, the maximum of 5131 persons, who are wanted under the Title 1 Article 327 of the Criminal Code are now considered as beneficiaries for this amnesty program.
