French Ambassador to Armenia addresses the mongols in south-east of Republic of Artsakh - “War is not a subject for staging a performance”
The French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacotte noted that he recently visited the Yerablur military cemetery.
“I fully understand and share the emotions in the Armenian society associated with the opening of the so-called ‘park’ in Baku. We witnessed how many people died, how many losses. We saw families suffering.
Yerablur is a place where dignity is manifested. War is not a subject for a performance. Now, the priority is to find a solution to the conflict.”
To the question whether the aggressive rhetoric of the Azerbaijani authorities contributes to the establishment of relations, the ambassador emphasized by responding: “Armenia is worthy in its defeat. You have to be worthy even if you win.”
