Plus, coming Monday US market will be off; while Bursa will be off on Tuesday due to Thaipusam holiday, traders tend to minimise their exposure risk in this uncertain market.

TECH sector continue to lead the fall, as Bursa Technology dropped for 6.5% and closed almost near the lowest, very limited recovery sign spotted.

Among all, only FINANCE & ENERGY managed to maintain the bullish momentum, thanks to the market consensus on FED interest hike forecast & bullish oil price.

It's a panic sell Friday opening, mainly due to big drop of nearly 2.6% of NASDAQ last night.

Most of the sectors are experiencing, either panic sell or profit taking due to upcoming weekend.

Counters like AIRASIA facing fierce selling and TECH counters like GREATEC, UWC, D&O and few more continue to dive.

As mentioned in previous commentary, traders are now minimizing exposure risk of holdings due to volatile foreign market sentiment.

Today's market closed with small gain on KLCI index, mainly supported by FINANCE counters. However the sentiment was even softer due to profit taking of pennies counters & sharp drop of TECH & HC.

Some STEEL counter which were bullish yesterday, were facing certain level of profit taking as well, as traders prefer not to hold for longer term under this uncertain market.

TECH sector faced further sell down on afternoon session, despite futures index holding steady. Few waterfall spotted lead by counters like PENTA, INARI, GREATECH...etc This round of sell down crashed the hope of bottoming of tech counters. Investors are advised not to simply catching the bottom to avoid catching falling knife. Waiting for confirmation of bottoming signal would be a better option for us.

HEALTHCARE sector which already been downtrending, faced certain level of sell down as well. However, the downside should be limited compared with the TECH.

Market remains cautious with soft opening of slightly drop in KLCI index, overall gainer mainly contributed by STEEL & ALUMINIUM counters, which basically continuation of yesterday rally.

However, lacking of extra catalyst to support the price of above said commodities might make it unable to perform a sustainable rally, thus picking counters and entry timing is crucial.

TECH performance remains inadequate due to damages caused by sharp drop last 2 days. However, in overall remains steady and trying to bottoming around current range.

PENNIES these today could still be some profit taking, due to high volume last 2 days. The ability of absorb selling in these 2 days could determine the strength of continuation of the rally in overall.
