Evil is so gross in its insolence among the Lord's followers that even the most myopic Christian cannot miss it. During the last few years this evil has spread at an alarming rate. It has leavened the whole lump like leaven!

There are few more clever things the devil has planted on the church than his whispering to the church that part of her mission is to provide entertainment for people to be won over. Instead of explaining the gospel, the church gradually muted its witness, then winked and made excuses for the superficiality of the day. And then it made peace with that superficiality and finally embraced it as its own so that it could win the multitudes.
