Things you should know before going to the USA 1. The price you see on the tag isn’t the real price!Imagine you have $15. You see a shirt for $15 and want to buy it. However, when you go to scan your item, it shows around $17 . Remember, every state has a taxing system!
2. Tipping is common in America.Tipping is equal to service fee. When you go to restaurants, cafés or other places where smb serves you, you must tip, otherwise, you are being rude!
3. Don’t take everything seriously!I might say being polite and smiling a lot is in American culture. When someone smiles to you and comments on your outlook, don’t take it seriously, just accept it as a culture thing.
4. If you hear a phrase “we should hang out”, don’t get excited too early!People say it, but never mean it. When you hear it in our culture, you take it seriously and start planning your meetings, but that doesn’t work the same way here. I was “fooled” like that by many Americans
