These protests will be similar to the "Fees Must Fall" riots that happened in October 2015. They demanded free tertiary education while burning down campus buildings. After nearly a billion Rand's worth of property damage, the government ended up compromising to ensure that there would be no increases in university fees the following year.
We can only wonder what this one will deliver.
