Battle for Kherson: Situation in the Andreevka section as of 16.00 on 31 August 2022
The AFU continued to expand its zone of control near Sukhoy Stavka and, after occupying Kostromka, rached the south-western outskirts of the Bruskinskoye village, through which the group's supply lines in Davydov Brod run.
The attacks on Sukhoy Stavok and Andreevka caused the AFU to lose at least thirty armoured vehicles. The corridor from the pontoon crossing over the steppe is littered with traces of the victorious offensive. But the AFU achieved its goal. After losing personnel and equipment in a suicidal attack, they managed to pave the corridor with their corpses.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces are not giving up their attempts to advance northeast from Lozovoye through the Plotnitskoye tract and reach Belogorka through the coastal forests.
