In Proto-Indo-European there is a word for winter/cold (h₂ŕ̥tḱos). (It also is translated to 'bear'.)
It suggest #IndoEuropean|s originated in a more northern climate.
Colder climate indicates higher intelligence, as higher temperatures do not benefit a high cognitive performance.

During the Neolithic European Hunter-Gatherers used to bivouac in shelters like this, made of moss, leaves and bark.
Equipped with bows and spears they would normally hunt for deer, capricorns or chamois in the Alpine regions.

On activityI observed an interesting phenomenon: there are many children age three and up which are being driven around by their parents in strollers. Especially Arabs seem to do it this way.
I just can shake my head when I see this behaviour. The moment my children started to make their first steps I tried to encourage them to walk on their own as often as possible.
Sure, you may carry them when they are just too exhausted or tired but normally they have to walk on their own.
Positive side effects? Their bodies are triggered to grow stronger and their interest in exploring the world is increased.
Make your children walk as far as their feet can carry them!
