I don't know how the hell this is possible, but the writer of this article seems entirely unaware of
The Shining (1980), and seems to genuinely believe that the Overlook Hotel originated in
Ready Player One (2018), and in an astounding stroke of ignorance, that the latter was "truly original". I don't think I've ever seen such breathtaking cultural illiteracy in my entire life.
