2022-06-14 22:00:00 To be totally clear—the ongoing "Imagine If The Roles Were Reversed!"-ing from mainstream Con, Inc. pundits does not count as "standing up" to anything.

We know! We know they lie! We know there are two sets of rules! We know they're hypocrites—the hypocrisy is the point—their whole worldview is dependent on hypocrisy and different sets of rules for different people and situations.

The problem with simply pointing this out over and over is that it comes off like pleading and begging for the system to start applying "the rules" in an even-handed way—we know that this will never happen.

I have said it before, but anybody who is serious about fighting this should have dramatically different expectations for their state and local politicians, and the first thing on that list of expectations should be to acknowledge that "the rules" don't matter anymore.

This is the future of our heritage; it only exists because in the world of tourist capitalism, it is preserved as a commodity unless it can receive state or NGO funding for its preservation, but in a world of ESGs and a globalised vision, national heritage is worthless and state or NGO funding is eventually withdrawn. Unless your museum can keep up with modern, interactive and inclusive standards, its irreplaceable collection of art and artefacts will lose all funding and be put upon the scrapheap of history. 2022-06-12 22:40:25 The Communist political strategy from 1917 to 1924 was called "World Revolution" and had the aim of establishing a world government.

Almost every single European country experienced a Communist revolution during this time period.

This strategy was a miserable failure everywhere outside of impoverished Russia (the only place they didnt expect it to succeed) due to the nationalistic conservatism of the proles.

Marxists responded in two ways:

Firstly, the USSR under Lenin attempted to invade and conquer Europe by force (as he believed that a Communist Germany was necessary to secure their victory in Russia), but was stopped by the Polish, resulting in the Polish-Soviet war.

Secondly, this strategy of Marxism was abandoned; both the idea of using the proletariat as a vessel for revolution, and the that global Communism could be achieved through violent revolution. This resulted in the Frankfurt School Gramscian 'Western Marxism' (aka Cultural Marxism) that dominates the institutions of the entire West today. Open / Comment
