2022-06-07 21:33:35 Yesterday, @TheBoglord and @ModernPlatonist had a very interesting talk yesterday and I believe that Borja Vilallonga has definitely absolved himself of the accusations and speculations put against him. Although the evidence in circulation appeared very concerning, the context was certainly lacking. Dave was asked to take down the link to the talk for the time being, unfortunately, but when it reappears, it offers a valuable insight into his spiritual journey.

If this were a concern for hesitancy to see @SurviveTheJive's Pagan Futures event in London in a few weeks, I am hopeful that Vilallonga will give an interesting contribution to the debate.

2022-06-05 19:49:05 This is true. "The state" that people used to refer to by that term, is nowadays just one department of the new state, and pretty much subservient to all other departments within it.

There still exists a "state" and libertarians and anti-totalitarians should still be worried about it, but "the state" today is much more complex, resilient and yet abstract than the old thing, which seems almost quaint in its obviousness and clumsiness.
