EU Postpones Russia Oil Sanctions to Avoid Enraging Voters & Carrying Le Pen to French Presidency

An embargo on Russian oil, which experts say will inevitably cause a major rise in prices across Europe, will only be approved AFTER the final round of the French presidential election on April 24.

EU officials claim the decision was made to ensure that the impact at the pump won’t encourage voters to back Marine Le Pen who promised to fight the “elitist bloc.”

So what happens when Macron wins?

New Zealand Food Prices Surge at Rates Unseen for a DECADE

Prices in the country are up 7.6% over the year to March 2022, in New Zealand’s largest inflationary increase since July 2011 - with fruit and vegetables up a whopping 18%.

Officials blame the spike on the disruption of global supply chains, as well as New Zealand’s so-called “supermarket duopoly” raking in super-profits.

According to the commerce minister, “the major grocery retailers were earning excess profits of around $1 million a day, well above what would be expected in a workably competitive market.”

Even kiwis are unaffordable for the Kiwis.

'North Korean Hackers' Snatch $615MN from Gamers

Axie Infinity - the now infamous game in which players can earn crypto - has reportedly been raided by the hacker group Lazarus to the tune of $615 million.

The group is allegedly employed by North Korea, and has been accused of targeting Axie Infinity’s player database.

"Through our investigations we were able to confirm Lazarus Group and APT38, cyber actors associated with [North Korea], are responsible for the theft," the FBI said in a statement.

Lazarus originally grabbed attention back in 2014, when it 'hacked' Sony Pictures ahead of a comedy release about North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

UNHAPPY MEAL: Giant Cockroach Found in McDonald’s Order

A father from Sydney, Australia has claimed to have found a disgusting surprise in his daughter's McDonald’s Happy Meal.

“I'm Australian and should be used to them I guess,” he said on social media. “If there had been a spider in it I reckon I’d be way less grossed out.”

The hungry hitchhiker may have climbed inside the order after the bag of food was delivered to an incorrect address and sat on a porch before it was diverted to the correct home.

Or maybe they just want you to eat bugs.

STUDY: Even if you Press ‘Mute,’ Zoom & Other Apps Are Listening to YOU

Researchers have found that audio is still being transmitted to some apps’ servers either continuously or periodically when the mute function is selected.

Zoom, Slack, MS Teams/Skype, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, BlueJeans, WhereBy, GoToMeeting, Jitsi Meet, and Discord are just some of the services that may be eavesdropping.

And it gets worse, the researchers discovered it's possible to use the data to decipher what the user is doing 82% of the time, be that typing or cooking.

Jeffrey Toobin didn't stand a chance.

'Big Short' Investor Warns US Stocks are Overvalued & Could Plummet at Any Time

Michael Burry, famous for foretelling the housing market collapse of 2008, cautioned US stocks are hugely overvalued and could easily plummet in price.

"Nigh perched with a multiple problem," he said in a now-deleted tweet - after he earlier claimed the market will see "the mother of all crashes.”

“The Big Short” investor noted the S&P 500’s price-to-sales ratio has nearly doubled in 10 years, and could be another historic market bubble.

Ukrainian Forces Using Facial Recognition to Track & Send Pics of Dead Russians to Their Families

Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly using facial recognition technology to identify the bodies of dead Russian soldiers to then send gruesome photos to their families.

Authorities believe the practice will help end the conflict sooner - but some experts say it just adds fuel to the fire, stirring hatred towards Ukraine.

Ukrainian militants have already drawn criticism for posting videos to social media showing them executing Russian PoWs, or shooting them in the legs ISIS-style.

Bogus accounts spread confusion on Trump’s social network

The Truth Social says it will pull in RSS feeds of "well-known content creators" to clamp down on impersonator accounts - one of which turned out to be a Fox News account.

CEO Devin Nunes even came out saying it's "Great to have an RSS feed for @FoxNews now LIVE here on TRUTH!” - but later it turned out Fox had nothing to do with it.

The recently launched RSS feed has been posting for NASA and TMZ, all listed as “recommended accounts” - but the organizations have also come out saying they have NOT created them.

False accounts reportedly also exist for the FBI, CIA, military branches, and NYPD.

17 gangs behind ‘extremely coordinated’ surge of follow-home robberies in LA - Police

LAPD has tied at least 17 gangs from South LA to the surge of “follow-home” robberies targeting people who wear jewelry or drive luxury vehicles throughout the city.

Police believe robbers are in contact with each other, sometimes with “spotters” inside businesses watching for victims and letting crew members outside know who to keep an eye on.

Despite attempts to crack down on the perpetrators, a recent “resurgence” has occurred, with five incidents reported in just two days this week.
