Update for everyone: Strikers East is still undergoing some renovations. We have been in talks with the owner about restarting our event and we're hoping to return soon.

As many of you know, each year we try to collect new toys for the patients of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD).

Due to the pandemic we have not been holding any events, but this hasn't reduced the need for donations to the hospital. I received this letter earlier this month and I'm sure many of you are interested in making a donation this year too. (I have made my best attempt to copy the links below)

2020-03-18 00:51:41 Update on March Furbowl: it's been more than 15 days since possible exposure, the individual has been cleared and returning back to work.

We still encourage everyone to continue practices to stay safe and healthy! Open / Comment

2020-03-16 16:00:16 Update on March Furbowl: we have maintained contact with the individual. They are still not showing any symptoms and appear perfectly healthy.

At this time there are no other updates, but we will continue to keep everyone informed. Open / Comment

2020-03-14 23:35:48 Attention attendees of our March Furbowl. It has been brought to our attention one of our attendees feels they may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Let it be known to our understanding the contact happened earlier on March 2nd, 11 days before the furbowl. And not to the knowledge of the attendee at the time. Generally they find symptoms set in within 5 days of contact (although quarantining is recommended for up to 14 days)

We have contacted the individual and they are still feeling "well." Remember COVID-19 symptoms come on suddenly like every other flu. If the individual does fall ill in the next 30ish hours, we will notify everyone to be aware of the situation.

Remember at this time it's important to remain calm and think rationally. Although COVID-19 is a nasty flu, simple hygienic practices can severally reduce chances of getting sick.

And again, at this time, it's been over 12 days since possible exposure with NO SYMPTOMS.

Please continue to stay safe, be smart, and stay healthy!

The next NH Furbowl will be on March 13th at 7:00pm at Strikers East Bowling Center in Raymond, NH.

Cost: $5 per Attendee or $10 per Bowler
