A. Classification based on mode of entry

Stomach poison - Insecticide applied on leaves and other plant part when in greeted all on the digestive system of the insect and bring about kill. THB hope of poisoning is limited mainly to the chewing insect.

Contact poison - When insect in contact with poison are usefull in the control of sucking pest.

Fumigant - Toxicant is gaseous state, penetrate through tracheal System and kill pest.

B.Classification based on mode of action

a. Physical poison
Toxicant which brings about kill of insect by exerting physical effect called as physical poison e.g. heavy oil, tar oil etc cause the death of insect due to asphyxiation i.e. by exclusion of
air.

b. Protoplasmic poison
A toxicant responsible for precipitation of protein.
Especially destruction of cellular protoplast of mid gut epitheiium
e.g. heavy metals, such as Cu, Hg, fatty acids. Open / Comment

First Kisan Credit Card Issued by- SBI

Short term loan limit under KCC scheme is upto- Rs. 3 Lakhs

Short term loan limit for New KCC holders is- Rs.2 Lakhs

Short term loans provided to farmers @ interest rate of -7 per annum and 4% interest per annum on Prompt repayment

Animal Husbandry and Fisheries farmers now eligible for concessional short term loan through KCC.

Banks to issue KCC on completion of application form within - 14 days

Actual rate of interest -9%

Interest subvention by RBI - 2%

Subvention by GOI for prompt repay -3% (upto 3 lakh)

Prompt repayee have to pay rate of interest for KCC - 4% (benefit- 5%)

The benefit of interest subvention will be available to small and marginal farmers having Kisan Credit Card for a further period of upto 6 months post harvest on the same rate as available to crop loan.

Farmers who already have KCC based on their land ownership, can get their KCC credit limit enhanced, though interest subvention shall be available only to the extent of Rs 3 lakhs.

Although the general limit for KCC credit without collateral remains Rs. 1.6 lakh, but the case of farmers whose milk is directly procured by Milk Unions
falls under tie up arrangements between the producers and processing units without any intermediaries, and hence the credit limits without Collateral can be
