2021-11-19 07:34:43 Cantwell mentions something intersting in his interview with Spectre about the plaintiffs claims concerning the "student victims" at the statue.

He was prevented from telling the jury who two of those people really were, despite the fact that their identities are known and they are both felons, Thomas Keenan and Thomas Massie (not the politician).

If the plaintiffs were making an issue of who they are by alleging they are students, Cantwell or anyone else has the right to refute that by identifying them. If the plaintiffs allege that they are peaceful, Cantwell has the right to show that they are violent felons.

This is just one more small way in which court procedure can really change perceptions of a case. Open / Comment

Even Richard Spencer, who often comes off as arrogant and aloof, came through with a basic human vulnerability this afternoon.

Regardless of what you think of any of the major defendants, whatever their past failings and weaknesses of character, they are almost all better people than the lawyers on the other side, or their clients.

One side of this fight includes the flawed, the irresponsible and the incompetent----the other side is pure evil. This is why it's been impossible to stand off from this trial and feign disinterest. Open / Comment

But I have to say, it's so annoying the way these Black pastors and other activists make such a big show of assembling outside the courthouse. They act as if Blacks are routinely victimized by racist Whites, and this is their big chance to finally get some justice.

As we know, the reality is exactly the opposite: innocent Whites are constantly victimized by Blacks all over the country, all the time, and they get no justice at all. But if these Black pastors think Blacks are constantly victimized by Whites—and we believe Whites are constantly victimized by Blacks—then isn't the solution obvious?

We separate, forever. Why wouldn't these Black pastors want that? If Blacks are constantly being victimized by Whites in a racist system, then they should be clamoring for separation. This is what all minorities do when they are living under a majority and they feel they're being oppressed: they push for autonomy, for self-determination, for territorial changes giving them their own land. They form an independence movement. This is what all minorities do throughout history—just not this minority.

Why is that? We need to stop and think about it. Why do you want to be stuck with us in a marriage we both hate? We want out, but you don't, because you want to stay chained to us so you can keep playing the victim while you victimize us, living off the fruits of our work and labor, forever. And you still want more, you want the ability to rob us and steal from us at will, and if we protest, you want the justice system to punish us.

Whites are getting the rotten end of the deal in this relationship. Why should we stay in it? What do we gain by sharing space with Blacks???
