2022-05-06 14:20:31 Given are two maps showing the changes that a rural town has undergone over the years since 1983.

Overall, it is clear that the town went from a rather featureless, sparsely-populated area to a somewhat full-fledged city.

Focusing on the most noticeable changes, the forest in the north-west corner of the town has been cleared to make room for new houses. These houses can now be accessed from a newly-built road extending northward from the Main Road that runs from east to west. Another major transformation has been the demolition of the farmland by the Munster Road, which has been eventually used for the construction of a petrol station and a café. Furthermore, a small shop across the farm has been replaced with a new supermarket. Finally, there is now a powerful dam at the northern end of the River May, which stretches all the way to the south of the town, cutting it into two halves.

As for the remaining features, public facilities in the center of the town, a school, a post office, and a police station were not subject to change. Similarly, no changes have been made to the windmill which can be found in the east of the town.

The tables below gives information related to population growth, average birth per woman, life expectancy at birth in countries with different income levels in 2000 and 2004. Summarise the information making comparisons where relevant.
