Abū Nūḥ ʿl-Anṣārī said: A fire once broke out in a house where ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn – may Allah have mercy on him – was prostrating in prayer.
So they (ie: the residents) began to say: “O son of the Messenger of Allah! Fire!”
He didn’t raise his head until the fire went out.
When asked about this he said: “The other Fire kept my mind busy.”
