Another broken promise of the Biden administration. The seven-page guidance can generally be characterized as a return to form viz. immigration enforcement under the Obama administration.

A second person has come forward with brutality accusations against a Paterson police officer who already is facing a state investigation for beating a man in December.
The attorney for 18-year-old Rosdward Hernandez said he was beaten on Thanksgiving while trying to help a homeless person having a mental health crisis.

If this is the standard going forward, a whole lot of people across the political spectrum are going to find themselves in trouble. Meanwhile, the work of stopping actual terrorism and violence will be made harder, as federal agents spend increasing amounts of time investigating, targeting, and prosecuting people for harmless posts.

"We are seen as Black people who, to them, read as threats." Black girls, researchers and advocates say, are often stripped of their innocence at a young age and perceived and treated like adults. The perception dehumanizes them and makes Black girls targets of harsh treatment by police and severe disciplinary action at school, research shows. A 2017 study conducted by the Georgetown Law Center on Poverty and Inequality found that Black girls as young as 5 years old are viewed as needing less protection and nurturing than White girls.
The Rochester case -- along with a string of other reports of police brutality against young Black girls in recent years -- illustrates these findings. "We're not even seen as children," said Monica Raye Simpson, executive director of SisterSong, an organization that advocates for reproductive justice for women of color. "We are seen as Black people who, to them, read as threats."

Hundreds of Chileans in Panguipulli Burn Municipal Buildings After Police Murder Street Artist
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Panguipulli in response to the police murder of Francisco Martínez, also known as El Pancho, a street artist who juggled fake machetes and was murdered by police for not having an ID. Several public buildings went up in flames by the end of the night, as police refused to provide justice for the murder of the young man.
