#CommonMistakes
Alright, fellas. Let's talk a bit about the words that often don't require a preposition before and after them.
The first one is 'abroad', which usually means 'foreign' or 'overseas'. You see, we cannot tack any preposition on it. And it still makes sense in the way we want. Let me give you a couple of examples:
- Many young people of Uzbekistan dream of studying abroad. - If you think going abroad solves all of your problems, you are dead wrong, my friend.
Exception: The only preposition that can be used with the word is 'from'.
e.g. How about we get a bulk of gasoline shipped from abroad?
