Apple recorded user conversations with Siri Apple was recording, storing and viewing user interactions with the Siri voice assistant. Moreover, it did so without the user's knowledge.
ZDNet reports that
iOS 15 has a bug causing "
Siri and Dictation Enhancements" to turn on even for those who previously disabled the feature in settings.
After you update your
iPhone to iOS 15.4 (
while the software is being tested), you'll be asked if you are willing to help improve
Siri and dictation by allowing
Apple to view recordings of voice interactions. If you say no, your voice interactions with
Siri or the voice dictation tool on your iPhone
will no longer be recorded and shared with Apple.
