GoodWaste Investigates Circular Manufacturing in Department Stores

In conjunction with multinational retail giant Selfridges, design studio GoodWaste debuted its latest sustainable collection. GoodWaste repurposed the department store's old waste products and transformed them into high-end home décor. The purpose of the study dubbed the "Super Circular Department Store," was to see how department shops might transform obsolete garbage into a viable product.

Candles, lamps, and a vase are included in the five-piece set. All of the materials came from Selfridge's Oxford Street store as well as the neighbouring London region. All materials were meticulously obtained from local providers, including wax, steel, acrylic, and light bulbs. The LED light bulbs, for example, are made by Tala, a London-based company.

The brand is reasonably priced to make environmentally conscious buying accessible to everybody.
