The Modular Design of the Conceptual 'WaterPod'
The 'WaterPod' floating desalination device is a modern approach for assisting persons living in underdeveloped countries in gaining access to drinkable water. The system is distinguished by its floating architecture, which allows it to be positioned on the ocean's surface in any direction desired by the community. The units would then draw water up into the reservoir and use the sun's natural power to make potable water that the community could gather.
Bennie Beh Hue May, Yap Chun Yoon, and Loo Xin Yang designed the hypothetical 'WaterPod' floating desalination device in response to a scarcity of drinkable water in Sandakan, Malaysia.
