Somebody spent $650,000 to buy a virtual super yacht in the meta universe
A virtual asset called the Metaflower Super Mega Yacht has a new owner who wished to remain incognito.
An unknown enthusiast has paid as much as $650,000 for the virtual object in The Sandbox meta-universe. According to Business Insider, this is the most expensive NFT-token object ever purchased in this project. The boat really deserves the prefix mega - it's designed by Republic Realm Studios for the Fantasy Collection, which features exclusively luxury objects with NFT tokens.
There's a hot tub, a helicopter landing pad, and a dance floor with a DJ booth on board.
