​​Doc Emrick, beloved play-by-play legend, retires

Mike "Doc" Emrick, a legendary voice of hockey in the US, has decided to retire. His career was really impressive, as it includes almost fifty years of qualitative work. During his career, Emrick was the voice of 22 Stanley Cup finals, nineteen NHL outdoor games, and more than three thousand professional and Olympic hockey games. The peculiarity of his style was inventing new words to describe the game in the brightest way. Many words that were invented by Emrick will always remain in the fans' memories. At the very beginning of his career, Emrick was a radio host. But before this, he was a writer. His career began in the 1970s and is now finished.
