This photo features a dead spacecraft frozen on the Red Planet. Can you spot it?

Southwest of Bonneville Crater, near the lower-left corner of this view, is the three-petal lander platform that NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit drove off.

Spirit left the landing site in January 2004 and spent most of its six-year working life in a range of hills roughly 3.2 kilometers to the east. The rover completed its planned mission and went on to function effectively over twenty times longer than NASA planners expected. The rover also logged 7.73 kilometers of driving instead of the planned 600 meters.
