Another unpopular opinion piece with Sam, because y’all know how I love rocking the boat.
Protesting is only achieving their agenda. We’re all angry and frustrated. We all want to demand justice and protection of our human rights.
Protesting does neither of those things.
Protesting simply allows people to release their anger on the streets, they burn up their energy and then the government goes ahead and continues doing what they are doing.
Only this time, they are also using every tactic under the sun to stir up division, hatred, anger, stress and anxiety to disrupt and fracture our society, launching it into chaos, confusion and disaster. Divide and conquer.
Standing together is powerful, yes, rallying people together has its purpose within communities, but it will not change anything unless we also step up and DO something.
