UAE-based MASDAR won the tender for construction of minimum 200MW solar-power station in Sherabad district of Surkhandarya region with 457MW capacity offer with 1.8045 cents tariff for kW/h of energy.
ACWA Power proposed 354MW with 2.4825 cents;
Jinko Power and China Power Holding International 500MW with 2.1621 cents;
Total Eren S.A. 400MW with 3.3940 cents.

Investors obliged to construct new 220kW sub-station and 52 km of electricity line to connect new station to grid.
Total number of investors, submitted initial documents reached 54 companies and consortiums.
