Uzbekistan increased the import of cement almost twice - up to 1 million tones in January-April. Total value of import reached $50.5 million and almost half belongs to Kazakhstan. Consumption wise, half of imported cement targeted Tashkent, another 45% to Fergana valley - Central and Western regions are supplied with locally produce cement.
