[Sent on 17 Dec 2021] No changes to construction worksite requirements
It was announced that from 1 January 2022, up to 50% of employees who can work from home are allowed to return to the workplace.
Non-Worksites For the built environment sector, this applies to those who are not working at the construction worksite.
Employers must ensure only the following employees can return to the workplace: Employees who are fully vaccinated Employees who have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 180 days Unvaccinated employees who have tested negative for COVID-19 within 24 hours of returning to the workplace via a Pre-Event Test at an MOH-approved COVID-19 test provider
Worksites The announcement has no impact on those who are already working at a construction worksite. There are also no changes for the worksite SMM.
