— "The Turkish Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday the start of a new operation in the east of the country as part of the fight against terrorism.

Operation Eren, named after Eren Bulbul, a 15-year-old martyred by the terrorist PKK on Aug. 11, 2017, commenced with the start of 2021, and aims at eliminating terrorism from the country completely, it said in a statement.

A total of 1,071 personnel from the Gendarmerie Command, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JOH), Police Special Operations Department, (POH) and rangers, and 71 operational teams are part of the action launched in Tendurek region of the eastern Agri and Van provinces.

Turkey conducted Operations Kapan and Yildirim in 2020 with the aim of eliminating the separatist terrorist organization, and exterminate the terrorists present in the region."

— "A senior PKK terrorist was brought to Turkey after he was arrested in an operation of Turkish intelligence in northern Iraq, security sources said on Wednesday.

Ibrahim Parim, the so-called “logistics officer” of the PKK terror group, was arrested in Sinjar in an operation held by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization.

The terrorist – codenamed Laser – was operating in Sinjar near the Iraqi border with Syria, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

He is currently being questioned by counter-terrorism police as per the instructions of the Ankara prosecutors.

Parim was found to have participated in the 2014 demonstrations organized by the PKK in Turkey’s eastern Van province and joined the terror group in 2015."

— "Military officials are working to recover high powered explosives that vanished from a Southern California installation, according to ABC 10News' sources with close military ties.

The explosives disappeared from the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base, and now a reward is being offered for their discovery, sources told ABC 10News.

Sources report that approximately 10 pounds of Composition C-4 disappeared during a long training exercise two weeks ago. They also believe the manufactured plastic explosives may have been stolen.

The unit's commanding officer is considering extending the training exercise until the explosives are found, sources said. They also confirm the commanding officer messaged subordinate commands about a monetary reward for any information leading to the discovery of the C-4"
