Independent thought = banishment from major (corporate) dominated music scene.
Major festivals in Australia are now insisting acts bow to government directives to get jabbed or risk losing their slot.
But most musicians don’t even need overt blackmail to go along to get along; they are terrified of losing their fame or perceived position amongst peers.
